OUR LEADERSHIP AND TEACHERS

Meet Ms. Vickie!

Learning Center Director

“Children are not a distraction from the most important; they are the most important work.”
— Dr. John Trainer

Hello! My name is Victoria Gracian, but to my students, I’m known as Ms. Vickie. I have had the privilege of serving as the Learning Center Director at Transformation Learning Center since its opening in 2018. Being part of TLC’s journey from the very beginning has been an incredible experience, and I am honored to continue leading a space where young learners can thrive.

A little about me: I’m a proud Jersey girl, born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey. From an early age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in education. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education from Eastern University in St. Davids, PA.

My journey in education took me all the way to New Delhi, India, where I worked with a non-profit organization, teaching special education and supporting at-risk girls. That experience deepened my passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners. After returning to New Jersey, I worked at a private, parochial school in Hawthorne, where I taught before stepping into an administrative role as the Director of Admissions.

I am deeply committed to fostering an environment where children can grow, learn, and discover the world around them. It’s truly a blessing to partner with Transformation Life Church in bringing the vision of Transformation Learning Center to life.

Currently, I live in Bergenfield with my husband. When I’m not at TLC, you can find me reading or couponing: my 2 favorite pastimes! I look forward to getting to know your family and working together to make your child’s preschool experience truly special.

Meet Miss Amanda!

Transitional Kindergarten Teacher

Hi! I’m Miss Amanda, and I’ve always had a passion for teaching young minds—and singing! My love for education started back in middle school when I helped kindergarteners learn colors and letter sounds through songs and homemade flashcards. Moreover, I tutored first graders in phonics and in mathematics while in high school, interned in a kindergarten classroom during college, and earned my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Early Childhood.

I joined TLC in 2021 and have loved every moment! Over the years at TLC, I’ve taught in the Preschool 3 program, co-taught in Pre-K 4, and helped develop our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program, where I currently teach. It’s an absolute joy to be part of my students’ learning journeys.

My teaching philosophy is simple: make learning fun! I believe fostering a love of learning is one of the best gifts we can give children. Whether your child is in my class or another, I’m so excited to welcome you to the TLC family!

Meet Ms. Arelys!

TLC Aftercare Team

Hello! My name is Ms. Arelys, but all the students call me Ms. A. I’ve been working in childcare since 2005 and proudly joined the Transformation Learning Center family in 2025. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to providing the best care and education for young learners, earning certifications in special needs, CDA (Child Development Associate), medical assistance, CPR & First Aid, a home childcare license, and a Director’s license for infants and toddlers.

I believe that each child learns best through play and that the early years lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning. My goal is to create a nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of peace of mind when dropping your child off at school, and I am committed to providing that sense of comfort and trust at TLC.

For me, childcare is more than a profession—it’s a calling. I believe that with love, patience, and dedication, we can truly make a difference in every child’s life. I look forward to partnering with you and your family to help your child grow, learn, and thrive at Transformation Learning Center!

Meet Ms. Debbie!

Head Teacher

Hello! My name is Ms. Debbie, and I have been teaching at Transformation Learning Center since 2021. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Working with young children has always been my passion—I love guiding them as they explore, learn, and grow. In 2022, I proudly completed my CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, which deepened my understanding of early childhood education and strengthened my commitment to providing the best learning experiences for my students.

I believe that early childhood education is the foundation for a lifelong love of learning, and I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment where every child can thrive. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing the joy on a child’s face when they accomplish something new. I strive to help my students develop confidence and curiosity, encouraging them to ask questions, try new things, and believe in themselves.

In my classroom, learning is always fun and interactive! Our daily routine is filled with love, music, dance, hands-on activities, and lots of Spanish. Through movement, play, and creative exploration, my students develop important social, emotional, and academic skills that will help them as they continue their educational journey. I also take pride in fostering a sense of community where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to come to school each day.

I am so grateful to be part of the TLC family and to have the opportunity to make a positive impact in my students’ lives!

In my role, I support the lead teacher by helping to create fun and engaging lesson plans, leading small group activities, and cheering on students as they grow and learn. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and exciting classroom where every child feels happy, confident, and ready to explore new things.
